These protective solutions are based on TEMET’s specific expertise and technology in the field of blast protection and have been complemented by the deep knowledge in blast and overpressure research and testing provided by VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland.
TEMET’s latest products for Industrial Protection are developed specifically for the long duration overpressure loadings specific to vapor and dust cloud explosions. PV-KK Blast Valves
PV-KK blast valves are constructed off corrosion
resistant materials and protect against blast loads up to 15 bars of
peak reflected overpressure. Temet has produced PV-KK blast valves for
military hardened shelters, industrial facilities onshore and offshore,
Civil Defense shelters and marine applications for over twenty years.

duration overpressures higher than many current calculations predict.
The Temet HPO Fire and Blast door's composite sandwich structure maintains structural
integrity while withstanding pressures up to 1 bar (14.5 psi). The HPO
door also saves space and resources by combining blast protection with
resistance against fires in a single package.
