Temet Supports Finnish-Gulf Cooperation During High-Level Visits to Qatar and Kuwait

The visits brought together government leaders, business representatives and industry experts to strengthen cooperation between Finland and the Gulf region in areas including security, critical infrastructure, education, innovation, technology and investment. The Finnish delegation was led by Jarno Syrjälä, Under-Secretary of State for International Trade at Finland's Ministry for Foreign Affairs. Finnish companies were invited to showcase their expertise and explore opportunities for long-term collaboration.

 

In Kuwait, discussions focused on expanding cooperation in education, technology and national resilience. Finland's internationally recognised expertise in education, innovation and critical infrastructure was highlighted as both countries explored new opportunities for partnership and knowledge exchange.

 

In Qatar, meetings and business forums centred on strengthening trade and investment relations and promoting collaboration in sectors such as technology, artificial intelligence, security and infrastructure. Finnish and Qatari stakeholders expressed strong interest in expanding private-sector cooperation and developing mutually beneficial business opportunities. Temet was among the Finnish companies participating in the delegation alongside several leading Finnish technology and security organisations.

 

As part of the Finnish delegation, Temet was proud to represent Finnish expertise in civil defence, critical infrastructure protection and resilience solutions. The events provided valuable opportunities to engage with key stakeholders, exchange knowledge and explore future cooperation opportunities across the Gulf region.

 

Participation in these visits reflects Temet's ongoing commitment to supporting safer and more resilient societies while strengthening international partnerships in regions where security, preparedness and critical infrastructure protection remain key priorities.
